Day-by-Day Itinerary
Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station to Thimphu (Drop Service)
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. Transfer to Phuentsholing for immigration formalities. Continue journey to Thimphu. Check-in and overnight stay at Thimphu.
Thimphu Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the Kuenselphodrang Buddha Statue offering a panoramic view of the Thimphu Valley. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in memory of Bhutan's Third King. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum to experience traditional Bhutanese life. Afternoon sightseeing includes Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, and the Takin Preserve Centre (home to Bhutan’s national animal). Evening visit to the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Excursion to Punakha
Drive to Punakha after breakfast, stopping at Dochula Pass for stunning Himalayan views and the 108 stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens). Visit the Chhimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility), a famous pilgrimage site. Explore the Punakha Dzong, one of the oldest and most majestic Dzongs in Bhutan. Optional visit to the Punakha Suspension Bridge, the longest bridge in Bhutan. Return to Thimphu for an overnight stay.
Thimphu to Paro – Sightseeing and Transfer
After breakfast, visit Memorial Chorten and Buddha Dordenma (largest Buddha statue). Explore the Jungshi Paper Factory and learn about traditional paper-making. Visit Simply Bhutan, an interactive museum showcasing Bhutanese culture. Afternoon transfer to Paro (2.5 hours). Check-in and overnight stay at Paro.
Day Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang)
After breakfast, embark on a hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks. Visit the Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Monastery. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Paro.
Paro to Phuentsholing – Transfer
After breakfast, check out and drive to Phuentsholing (approx. 200 km, 7 hours). Arrive and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your return journey.
